 Welcome to William H. Cooper Middle School |
William H. Cooper Middle School is a publicly funded school in the village of Mayberry, Massachusetts. Attended by 423 students from the fifth through eighth grades, it consistently receives top scores in standardized testing for the state. The school resides in what was the original Mayberry school house, dating back to the late 19th century. With a very active parents' council, the school is always abuzz with fund raising activities and social events, from theatrical performances to school dances for the upper students.
The school is equipped with a high ratio of computers and technology per student, and is completely wirelessly networked. Teachers are encouraged to use new technology in their day-to-day lessons (thanks to the fine people at Dell), and each is given a laptop for their use in the school. Each staffer is also given a log-in to a school network, with e-mail and internal blogging capabilities so that they may bitch and gossip about each other coordinate lesson plans and plan school events and field trips.

In order to play in this game, you must play either a teacher, or a school staffer. No students will be allowed. Basically, this is a place where people can play grown-ups and actually do some writing. Novel, isn't it?

Rules
No anonymous holds. Holds will last for 48 hours. You may received one (1) extension of 48 hours. We will only have four homeroom teachers for each grade, with additional teachers with the split 5/6 and 7/8 classes. All positions are open to challenge. If six people apply for 7th grade teachers, we will simply pick the four with the best applications.
Faces must be celebrities and be appropriately aged. No characters will be admitted under the age of eighteen. Faces and characters that are underrepresented in PB will receive bonus points and extra consideration in their applications. Why? Because diversity is fun.
